My interview with shoutout
I provide anti aging, beauty, cosmetic, fitness and dance services in my home Camp Verde AZ.
As an instructor it is my pleasure to have been teaching fitness and dance most of my life.
Beginning with dance classes at age three with Lydia Toreas in Glendale, then moving on to take 5 dance academy in Tolleson, I matriculated to university dance study at UNR, University of Utah Tanner Dance Program (emphasis on childrens pedagogy), and UNLV.
I received my first primary fitness certification from AFAA in 1997.
I went on to become trained in many different fitness modalities and programs including receiving a 200 hour RYT Yoga Teacher Certification, Beachbody Trainings in PiYo Strength and TKB, Zumba original, toning, and Gold, Aerial Pole training, BodyPump, Spinning, Treat while you Train, and Pop Pilates.
I am currently focusing on Indoor Cycle, Pop Pilates, and a personally choreographed Pilates/Yoga Fusion class and am in development to bring more children’s dance and creative movement to the Verde Valley.
About Me~ I am a proud “‘Zonie” 4th generation. My great grandfather moved to Phoenix as a child and served as one of the first motorcycle police officers. His son, my great uncle Walter was the first motor officer killed in the line of duty in Phoenix. My maternal grandmother and grandfather loved the wild west and beauty of Arizona so much they left their roots in the midwest and moved to Tucson where my grandfather, a music conductor worked as a radio broadcaster and my grandmother taught school.
I am a mama, wife and dog lover and love living in the Verde Valley, the prettiest place in the world.
In 2023 I married my best friend and together we have six children. We love to go to the river, cook, walk our dogs, travel, and he is a wonderful outdoorsman.
He is a 100% disabled Army combat Veteran and leads guided hunting and fishing trips. Check out his website here.
