Monday~ 4:30 Yin-Lates Get your muscle toning and stretch on with this combination of Yin Yoga and Pilates. We will do time tested gentle but effective pilates exercises alternating with yin yoga to open up the muscles we just worked on.Its a workout you will fall in love with doing while you fall in love with the results. Enhances flexibility, improves circulation,  increase strength and muscle control as well as musculature balance. All ages and stages can benefit from this class from teens to seniors to everyone in between. 

Tuesday~ 4:30 Yin Yoga The warm up and movement segment is simple and designed to be a treat for the joints and muscles, and then progresses into yin yoga to create flexibility and peace in the body and mind.

  • We will start with some gentle full body movement both standing and floor.
  • Then we will move on to some dynamic stretches, calisthenics, and twists.
  • These movements will help to increase blood flow and range of motion, and prepare the joints and muscles for more challenging poses.

Yin Yoga

  • Yin yoga is a slow-paced form of yoga that focuses on holding poses for longer periods of time.
  • This allows the body to deeply relax and release tension.
  • Yin yoga is especially beneficial for the joints, muscles, and connective tissues.
  • It can also help to improve flexibility, balance, and focus.

What to Expect

  • You will need to bring a yoga mat, a blanket, and a pillow to class if you do not have a mat you may use a blanket.
  • The class will start with a gentle warm up, followed by a series of yin yoga poses.
  • There will be time for relaxation and meditation at the end of the class.

Monday 5:30 if you’re coordinated enough to drive to the Rec Department you’re coordinated enough to do indoor cycle. In instructors experience, the best class to lose weight bar none. Get your heart and lungs in shape to feel better and live longer with HIIT drills. Studies show indoor cycle reduces cortisol and increases endorphins to reduce stress and increase happy. 

Get strong and sculpted with no competition and going at your own pace. Great workout for people without a lot of time to workout!
